Access to Work

Access to Work (ATW) is a brilliant UK government scheme offered through the Department of Work and Pensions that is designed to help people facing challenges at work. It is not means tested and provides support whilst you may be in a waiting list for a formal diagnosis.    Whether you're dealing with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Depression, or Dyspraxia, ATW can provide free support by way of a grant to make your working life easier and more productive.

What can ATW cover?

ADHD workplace coaching, standing desks, footrests, noise-cancelling headphones, apps for planning and time management, and even awareness training for colleagues. Plus, assessments will help figure out what’s best for you.

Who can apply?

Anyone facing workplace challenges due to disabilities or conditions.

Do I need a formal diagnosis?

Nope, you can still apply even without one.

What does ATW cover?

Think ADHD coaching, standing desks, footrests, noise-cancelling headphones, apps for planning and time management, and even awareness training for colleagues. Plus, assessments will help figure out what’s best for you.

Why does it exist?

Because keeping people in work is better (and cheaper) than paying for unemployment benefits!

Disabilities include but are not limited to ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Depression, Dyspraxia.
